Ohio's Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Title I funds flow through local workforce development boards. These boards can reimburse training costs, pay for supportive services, and connect you with job seekers who are already screened and motivated.
Look at career-technical education partnerships
Career centers, community colleges, and school districts often have funding to support employer-aligned training. Partnering with them can unlock equipment, classroom space, and instructor resources.
Economic development and industry grants
Many counties and regional economic development organizations offer grants for employers who create jobs and train local workers. These can be combined with other funding sources to cover most or all of your program cost.
